Portola State Park
This week's hike is Portola State Park again. We'll hike the trail we missed last time. To be sure we find it, no men will be allowed to look at maps and make suggestions. As before, a picnic will follow. We'll try to remember to bring Pictionary or Taboo along as well.
This hike is moderate on the "Wimble Scale". It will take about 3 hours, or a touch longer if we mosey along. The portion of the trail we'll be on is well maintained (though other portions are often hugely overgrown with poison oak).
A relatively uneventful hike, for once. We met a lot of campers returning along the trail, and we inspected the camping sites for potential future use ourselves.
